3801 Steam Train
Over 600 excited passengers boarded the
Thornleigh Rotary Express to make their
way up the mountain to Winter Magic.

Hands Heart & Feet lead
the 2007 Winter Magic Parade
More than 100 amazing dancers and drummers
fired up the crowd from 11am at the bottom of
Katoomba St, until 10pm in the Carrington Hotel
Ballroom and everywhere in between.
What a performance!!

building up in the crowd before their extraordinary
day of drumming and dance.

The Drumming Workshop and
the 2007 Winter Magic Parade
Take 23 people off the street, give them an hour
of your time to learn drums and percussion
then take them back to the street for an energetic
experience in the Winter Magic 2007 Grand Parade.

Afrikan Drumming Jam
The crowd rocked to the rhythm of this amazing
event at the Carrington Hotel Ballroom from 7 to 11pm.
Hands Heart & Feet and Club Mototo performed an
extraordinary feat of endurance in keeping this crowd
hot for 4 hrs non-stop.
Marong Television cameraman Col Herbert held the
camera steady long enough to capture the excitement
before succumbing to the rhythm.

Les Smokin' Gitanes
Meet Ivana Trumpet and Les Smokin' Gitanes
as they perform their own performance-enhancing
Gypsy-music, and invite the crowd to participate
in traditional Gypsy blessing.
The lucky very special person in the crowd was
chosen for their spiritual, emotional, physical
and financial qualities.

Winter Magic 2007 Fire Spectacular
The Fire Spectacular with Finhead and Les Smokin' Gitanes.
The Gitanes accompany Finhead (better known as Nellie
Collins) as he fires up the Carrington Stage before the big
FireShow at the Carrington Hotel leading into the biggest
Winter Magic fireworks display ever.
